Limited Edition Alex Kuznetsov

Borgmann 1772 × Alex Kuznetsov
If religion was once the opium of the people, then art is its alcohol.
It excites, isolates, connects. It brings lightness and weight. Like alcohol, art moves slowly through the system – subtle at first, but impossible to ignore.
This is not just a bottle.
This is a capsule.
A vessel of transformation. A moment of gesture and color frozen in form.
A precise disturbance designed to slip art into the everyday.
Not through contemplation – but through contact.
This collaboration brings together two rituals: one of taste, one of perception.
The bitterness opens the senses; the artwork sharpens them.
Together they create an access point – a small, portable experience of something larger than either liquid or image.
You don’t look at this object.
You hold it. You taste it.
You enter it.

Borgmann 1772 and Alex Kuznetsov present a new limited artist edition: a capsule of art, distilled Borgmann 1772, known for its centuries-old herbal liqueur, continues its series of artist collaborations with a new limited edition bottle by Lisbon-based artist Alex Kuznetsov.
This edition is not about decoration – it is about access.
Kuznetsov’s contribution is direct: a singular black gesture over a vivid orange surface, echoing both the visual tension of his larger works and the clarity of an intentional act. The result is a bottle that resists passivity. It doesn’t just stand – it speaks. It invites touch. It dares to be held.
„This bottle is a capsule,“ Kuznetsov says. „It carries not just liquid, but a state. A visual strike. A way of entering art not through theory or distance, but through something immediate and sensory – taste, weight, heat.“
