DANIEL JOSEFSOHN

For the first time, the iconic Borgmann aluminum bottle is adorned with provocative photo art. And who better to execute this than Daniel Josefsohn with his photograph “Der geilste Arsch der jüdischen Mädchenschule” (The Hottest Ass at the Jewish Girls School).

Born in Germany in 1961 with a Jewish background, Josefsohn was among those photographers who, in recent years, masterfully balanced provocation and humor, ironic positioning and political instigation — all to remain uncomfortable yet beloved. His work defies conventional viewing habits, moving seemingly effortlessly between art and commerce.

It is an honor for the Borgmann team to integrate one of his motifs onto the bottle. No further explanation needed. With our editions, we aim to think differently and surprise — and fun and a wink always belong in the mix.
